It's obvious you put a lot of work into this piece, not only is your character design humorous (which is fitting for the piece) but you also made your own background which is rare for an artist to do. I'm certainly in love with this piece and hope I see more like it in the future.

His wrinkles speak of many stories, the ones around his eyes tells me he smiles a lot, his bags under his eyes tell me he's tired, his eyes tell me stories of great woe and loss and also of love and victory, he's what any god should be, restless, old, and benevolent. I enjoy this work a lot, my only concern is that he's wearing a fur coat.

Thank you for the comment! And i think that you are right about the fact that his coat looks like it's made of fur, i should correct it to look like it's braided with plants.

[Frocangue]

Have you ever seen the notorious CD Zelda games? The ones with those AWFUL cutscenes? Well that's what I see when I look at this, it all looks so child drawn, its a grotesque art piece, I have to say that. But, I must give Frocangue a fair rating, so here I go: the lighting is spot on, bringing depth to this... thing. As far as detail goes, well, your suction cups are at times not on the tentacle¹ or are less circular and more square². Here and there you notice a lack of color look at notes ³ and ⁴. The teeth are in someways uneven but otherwise fearsome, and the head is very detailed and beautifuly textured. Considering.

NOTES: 1: third tentacle with visable suction cups (from left to right) has two that are peeking off the tentacle. 2: tentacle on far right appears to two square suction cups on the bottom row. 3: far left, between the two off screen tentacles. 4: far right tentacle third row suction cup appears to be uncolored towards the top. Ty for reading this and also, good job on the back story! An original character with their own lore is so rare!

Thank you for the review. I appreciate hearing from people about things I can work on. I will say that some of the suction cups and other endeavors in the piece were a little rushed. Perhaps next time i'll do a polish over before submitting the work here. Furthermore, I don't usually get reviews on my MSPaint work often so when I do its quite heartening. And I appreciate the forthcoming critique you've given of my work.

Your messy random pile of shits are always fun to me, and this one only strengthens that belief. I like your use of the pink moustache and how you made it lopsided, it is my favorite. And just to the right of our beloved stache we have what appears to be a meth rattled zombie, beneath her we have a thing that defies descrption, a tapestry? A patch of tall grass with a skull and two decorated hammoks? A bunch of lines? Who knows.
Beneath... whatever it is, we have a tribal man about to be kissed by a snake, note how the snake seems to stare at his lowerlip with such intent you begin to ponder the universe, why do we do what we do? Why am I here? Why are you? Is god real? Let us spend a moment to ponder this... hey, you know what, its prob just hungry for some lip.
Next to this scene we have another oddity, it appears to suffer from sonic syndrome, which means his eyes are so close together they become one monstrocity. His eyes stare back at you with lust, or perhaps he stares through you? Perhaps he is concentrating. Perhaps he is also part of the scene next to him, perhaps he has a tail that is a snake (and not that kind of tail *wink wink*¹) Or maybe hes just high as fuuuudge, who the hell knows?
Anyway, next to him we have our next scene, which is simple to describe. It depicts a fool who saw a fence, on that fence was a sign "HOLY FUCK THIS SIGN IS ELECTRIC TOUCH IT AND DIE" taking that in, he begins walking towards the fence, when he's in front of it he stops and makes sure he's alone, when he confirms this he starts to touch it. Who knows what happened?²
Above him we have Demon Blob With Chest Inside O' It™ which looks like it should be in a 1980s arcade game. Above him we have an adorable demon flying towards you ready to eat you soul! There's also another, but he's busy admiring air (he was dropped on his head when he was younger!) That's it, othe than the sad sunburnt ogre in the centre and the three faces dotted around the bunch of doodles. Hope u had fun reading this.

Btw, oh I mean PS: I'm giving this thing five stars because I spent three hours writing a review for it

this piece is very well drawn and I find mysef tempted to view your other works which is rarely something I do. The lighting is very well done, and the art piece it self is consistant and done in one style, I also find its stucture well done, it seems almost alive. This is also a very comical piece. You know, as I write stupid opinion down I wonder "why does it matter what I think?" You are already a fine and well established artist, the only thing that can make you better is yourself.

Is this an original piece? Its so hard to find original art here, its mostly just fanart. I enjoy the ripples in the water and the water it self, this whole art work is done in dark colors other than the faint echo of the lights and the lining of the protagonists clothes, in my opinion though, it really all seems to fit together. I find this piece makes me feel the cold and the smell and even the sound of heavy rainfall. Very well done. By the way, How did you draw this? If you don't mind my asking.

I do think it is ORIGINAL to draw some dork standing around doing nothing, but it is original in the respect that I was not knowingly imitating or homaging something else. The character is mine although it is not doing anything of consequence here. I do not personally have interest in fan-art but I understand that pays the bills for some people.
This I drew with a mouse in Paint Shop Pro 6 (circa 1999) about five years ago. As it happens I made a progress image

as was my habit at the time. A rather simplistic scene overall! But people seemed to like it more than most of the relatively complicated pictures I made.
It IS a tad dark; I brighten it up before printing it,, and it seems to work at a fell different levels of illumination.

I would have rather you didnt send this, rather than send a half finished work, the scene is very still making the piece very unappealing in its current state, the lack of detail and lighting doesnt help, but you already explained that. next time, Upload a finished piece. Also, because this is unfinished I can't rate it, nothing personal, I'm just like that.

The reason why I'm submitting poor quality images is so that I can see the progress I'm making. Also, I have very limited experience composing three dimensional images, so even my finished works won't be much better than this until I improve significantly. I am going to learn photoshop within the next year and I expect to make much better compositions in that program. Thank you.

[Death on a pale horse]

I've seen worse hands than that, it just could've been bigger. Its all very well drawn, and other than the background and that super small hand, I see no other problems. Sick scythe btw.
