In a game there are a few very simple rules to guarantee a decent game, and punishment's one of them. Some traps are impossible to surpass on the first play, and relentlessly difficult in other runs, and at times they are spaced so thinly that the player will have to execute a move combo perfectly with no margin for error, these things are frustrating and require more luck then skill to surpass which is punishing for players, and games should never feel punishing especially when your game only has its gameplay to offer to players.
Another major issue is motivation, there is no final boss or compelling narrative, not even a leaderboard, why should i be playing this relentless game when i could be playing something else?
Another issue is variety in enemies, all the player avoids are inanimate grey objects that are visually boring, even the protagonist is boring, and hes the center of the whole game. The only thing that does change each run is the time of day which offers nothing to the gameplay and therefore offers nothing to the experience.
This game is boring and lacks any significance as a title when compared to others in its genre, but it is playable, and another finished project is good for your portfolio, small games like this should be used as ways to improve your skills as a developer and milestones along your way, keep up the great work and keep creating!
