Japan is so rich in culture and style that it can make for excellent artwork, this is no exception.

Kkylimos responds:

Thank you! This was indeed a really fun series to work on, I enjoyed it a lot!

Probably my favorite of your works so far. Reminds me of this book full of gorey stories I found when I was a kid, also reminds me of horror anime. Your shading and wrinkle detail male this beauty all the more heastly. Keep it up my man

Despite it being February this is a well made piece, please upload more we need quality works like this in the portal.

Alfair responds:

Thanks! I'll definitely be uploading in the future since I'd like to start drawing more frequently. Need to start getting in a groove.

I love the black/white bg and how it complements the grey/crimson foreground, your other sketches are pretty good too, would love to see you on the art portal.

IhaveHatsInMyPants responds:

thanks man, that really means a lot. i plan on making more art and posting it on here more often regardless if it's my own original art or fan art like this.

Being unfamiliar with Nier-Automata I can only judge by visuals, which are beautiful. The perspective shows the bright warm colors and compliments her dark uniform and dispondent expression. I am aware of the complexity of Nier-Automata and if I were more understanding I'd probably be able to appreciate this beautiful piece all the more. Certainly one for the portfolio here.

rehdah responds:

Thank you so much!

Mitsuru is very very beautiful, something I do not see in this representation personally. I do however appreciate the stoic pose and style shes painted in. The face just bothers me

Absolutely love the color pallete myself, the lack of detail feels like motion blur and makes the puppo cute af. I especially like those lil paws, 10/10.

The first image has great shadowing and an appealing style, the second panel is intense and the effects do well to showcase that, the final piece is something of a Lvl.99 Mafia Boss troll that I can't help but admire.

In the same way the creator can only build in his limited place Jordan could only express his creativity through videos, and like The Creator's paint leaves marks Jordan's impact can be seen and experienced well beyond the confines of his mind and his now, sadly, deleted videos.

It is my opinion that an artist, of any nature, has the responsibility to preserve their creations no matter how pitiful or disgusting they are in your eyes. It is this self judgement that has led to the loss of what could have been some of the most extraordinary works.

Art matters. And you, a creator, matter all the more because of that.

Sarah-The-Dreameater responds:

thank you so much for your kind words <3 it really means a lot that someone else understands how valuable created works are and how sometimes we become our own worst critics at times, and how destructive it can be.

That link doesn't work and I'd love to commission my dude

DarkJazmin11 responds:

Well you can send me a message.

I like helping others, probably why I'm training to be an MA. I love art just as much as people though, whether it be a song, film, story, or painting I'm one who appreciates all forms of creativity!
Keep on creating! Art matters! You matter!
