A pleasant melody that's much shorter than I'd prefer.

Would love to hear some lyrics to this but oh well, it's still a nice and smooth if unremarkable beat.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Lyrics are possible, though I have a backlog of other rap projects. Thanks for listening.

It's OK. House has long since run it's course and hasn't been popular for a long, long time so if you do make it you need to make different from all the rest, something unique. Sometimes being unique is better than being well made.

Content does not equal quality. That's a rule of thumb for game designers, and one that I think applies to all art forms, including your song, which at times feels like several instruments playing their own solos rather than as a conglomerate. I felt that the guitar was more Seinfeld than suspense, the synthesizer more horror than anything, and everything else just came across as noise.

The only advice I can give you is to keep trying, don't feel discouraged because if you feel anything right now, you should feel challenged, challenged to improve your skill and eventually perform at the best of your abilities. I'm here to review submissions, not the submitter, good luck on future projects.

TigerM responds:

Thank You for your critical ear DocNik. Reading and listening I thank You for Your time
and as received honestly I think your personal review is important to You

Happy New Year

This is alternative/experimental rock, not heavy metal, not to me at least but whatever it doesn't really matter. At first I liked how it switched from a softer slower paced rock to much stronger metal vocals and sound, it was a fun transition but as the song went on it kind of blended into a mish mash of sound that was to soft to bang your head to and to heavy to just listen to, it was weird man. Good effort all in all, but I couldn't connect with it.

nolife1 responds:

That's fair enough man, when I write music I can force transitions a bit too much.
Thank you for the review :)

Unlike an artwork or an animation, music cannot be dissected. You either love it or hate it, you either feel it or you don't. There's no technical feedback I can give to you other than that I like it, until your next upload, happy holidays!

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Glad you're listenin, happy holidays to you too

A lot of love went into this and probably sonded smooth on your in but on my end it sounded like a recording of a radio, very bad audio quality made it the opposite of smooth and relaxing. It felt a little too attention grabbing at times to be a lounging song, and its ending felt forced. Better luck on future projects.

TigerM responds:

Thank You for your response =)

P.S. And you do mean 'better luck' from DocNik critiques I imagine =)
Thank You for sharing your experience D.N. =) And yes =)
A lot of love did and does -- check your hardware =3 (Earphones?)

Nothing was forced -- Thank you for your audience =) An enjoyable experience received =)

I like helping others, probably why I'm training to be an MA. I love art just as much as people though, whether it be a song, film, story, or painting I'm one who appreciates all forms of creativity!
Keep on creating! Art matters! You matter!
